The focus of this workshop series is on mastering the art of song interpretation, with an emphasis on applying these skills. Techniques for breaking down lyrics, mapping emotional journeys, and refining performance skills will be explored, all aimed at building confidence for the stage. The course culminates in a final concert, where participants will showcase their progress. This workshop is crucial for those looking to prepare themselves thoroughly for live performances and develop methods to confidently step onto the stage.

Level:Â Advanced
This course is for an advanced level of singers. For beginner and intermediate level performers we organise the âVocal Basicsâ workshop series or the âVocal Practiceâ workshop series each year in collaboration with INECC. The Vocal Basics workshop series starts on 2nd October 2025.

More about Sarah Kertz:
Sarah Kertzâs musical journey started early, sparking her love for singing in jazz, pop, and classical genres. Since 2011, she has performed live with various jazz, blues, and pop groups, mastering her musical and vocal skills. In 2016, she became a vocal coach, earning certifications in Estill Voice Levels 1 and 2 and LAX VOXÂź MASTER TRAINER, with extensive workshop and coaching experience. Performing on stage since sixteen, Sarah has played in many setups, from jazz combos to big bands. Currently, she is the backing vocalist for âPtolemeaâ and the lead singer of âThe Xâ.

Every second Wednesday (unless communicated otherwise) from 1st October 2025 to 13th May 2026 from 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM.
