Sync: The System, the Players – and You.
“Sync” as in “Synchronisation” is the matching of music to moving pictures.
Especially music in film, TV and advertising, has been one of the most-talked about subjects in the professional music landscape in recent years and we are watching remarkable music usages in TV series, movies and commercials.
As a young professional, you want to know what the fuzz is all about.
What are the potential benefits of “a synch” and, more importantly, how do I get there ?
Knowing the structures and the players, and understanding the legal, technical and diplomatic requirements of Sync allows for a successful and lasting professional standing.
This session offers a basis introduction to all aspects of Synch especially for young professionals and allows time for your questions.

About Markus Linde :
Markus Linde has been running his music-supervision thag’s agent for some 18 years now. With a long professional history in the record business, publishing and artist management, he draws from experience and knowledge, as well as from a love of music.
His services include music rights research, clearances and creative consultancy and has a track record for music placements in national and international advertising campaigns and he also contributes to films and TV productions.
Markus is founding member and Project Leader of Europe in Synch, he consults to international conferences, work-shops and panels.
