Speakers:
Hamilton Barros (Nova Culture Collective & Shadow Mist)
30 years old, with 15 years of experience in music and 5 years as a producer, Hamilton has released multiple international tracks with labels such as Phobiq (Sasha Carassi from Afterlife) and Bonzai Progressive (a Tomorrowland-supported label). He recently launched the project Shadow Mist and co-founded NovaKulture, focusing on enriching and connecting Luxembourg’s electronic music scene.
Hugo Hp (Netty Hugo)
Netty Hugo is a dynamic DJ duo from Luxembourg, comprising Hugo Hp and Mark Netty, who have been influential figures in the electronic music scene for over 20 years. Throughout their careers, Netty Hugo has performed at renowned venues and festivals across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Notable appearances include Nature One and Ruhr in Love in Germany, Ibizabeatz in Ibiza, Link Festival in Brussels, Rex Club in Paris, Fabrik in Madrid, ADE in Amsterdam, and Moon Republic in Beirut. Their contributions to the electronic music scene have been recognized with accolades, including being voted Best Electronic DJ at the 2019 Luxembourg Nightlife Awards. In Luxembourg, Netty Hugo manages their own label, DeckFAT Records, which features talented artists and boasts remixes from respected names in the industry such as Samuel L Session, Ben Long, and Filterheadz. Their career highlights include performing in the main room of Fabrik in Madrid and participating in the e-Lake Festival in Echternach.
Sebastian Jacqué (LOA Festival)
Sebastian is currently working full-time as Managing Partner of Luxembourg Open Air (LOA) music festival which he has co-founded in 2019. After the successful first LOA edition in 2019 he made the switch to working on the project full-time and developing it into what it is today: a bi-annual music festival over 4 days with over 30,000 visitors per year. At LOA his role is as much organizing the music festival as it is managing the business and team behind Luxembourg Open Air. This year, the LOA team is also developing a new project for New Years Eve 2024 entitled NOVA. Before co-founding LOA he worked as COO of the hospitality Group TWPM which included the operational management of the Group and the business development of new ventures.
Louis Loschetter (Ultraschall Collective)
Ultraschall Collective is a Luxembourg-based company dedicated to creating unique and immersive electronic music experiences. Since 2018, it has been committed to promoting local talent while bringing internationally renowned artists to carefully curated venues. With an innovative vision and deep respect for event spaces and their partners, Ultraschall actively contributes to enriching Luxembourg’s music scene.
Miss Sappho, a vinyl enthusiast, began her career in 2005, initially focusing on hard techno. Over time, her style has evolved into a more eclectic mix, blending deep bass lines and captivating melodies, all while maintaining an energetic vibe that defines her sets. Her stage name draws inspiration from Sappho, an ancient Greek poet and lyre musician. Hailed by Plato as the « tenth muse, » Sappho taught art, dance, and beauty to young girls. This choice of name reflects Miss Sappho’s artistic influence and passion for music and creative expression. Miss Sappho played many venues and festivals including Les Francofolies, USINA, E-Lake, LOA, in France, Les Vedettes, La Dame Jeanne, Le Sound, in Germany Club11, Deep and the Luxexpo Open Air organized by L’Atelier, where she had the honor of opening for Calvin Harris.
Alex Sauber (E-Lake Festival & AL-x)
Since 1996, Alex Sauber is a member of the e-Lake Festival organization. The festival hosts a large variety of music styles but electronic music has been the main foundation of the festival since its beginning. Alex is the head booker for electronic music. Being active as a DJ too since the early 90’s, Alex (AL-x) played numerous clubs and festivals in Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, UK and the Nederlands, such as Rockhal, Melusina, The Ground, Lenox, Ministry of Sound, John Doe, Paradiso and more. Festival highlights were Nature One, Ruhr in Love, ADE, Station One, Forrest Rave, and of course e-Lake Festival.
WazToo is an electronic dance music deejay with over 20 years of experience. Known for his high-energy sets and expertly crafted mixes, he seamlessly blends genres and styles to create a unique sound that is all his own. Whether he’s playing at a major festival or a small club, he knows exactly how to get the crowd moving and keep them engaged throughout the night. In addition to his live performances, WAZTOO has also gained recognition as a producer, releasing a number of successful tracks that have earned him a dedicated following. WazToo has played for DJs such as: « Timmy Trumpet » « Bassjackers », « Blasterjaxx », « Maddix », « Sander Van Doorn », Paul Van Dyk », « Mark Sixma », « Ben Nicky », « Cuebrick », « Cosmic Gate », « Julian Jordan » « David Puentez » & many more. On top, he played in legendary clubs like: Bootshaus (DE), Ministry of Sound (UK), The EGG (UK), Rockhal (LU), « Nature One Festival (DE) », « Ruhr in Love Festival » (DE), e-Lake Festival (LU), Electronic Forest Festival (DE), and more.
