Join us for an immersive 4-day Eurovision songwriting camp at Rocklab! Join a dynamic mix of local and international talent and collaborate on original songs — with the opportunity to submit them for the Luxembourg Song Contest 2027.

Work in small groups creating new songs each day and dive deep into the world of songwriting and production.

Kickstart each day with inspiring morning briefings before diving into dynamic songwriting sessions, get useful knowledge and resources for your career and expand your professional network.

Get inspired, collaborate, and write songs all day long in one of Rocklab’s dedicated rooms with the support and guidance of international experts and facilitators.

About the Eurovision & Luxembourg Song Contest:

The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international music competition, established in 1956. The contest features performers representing primarily European countries and has launched the careers of numerous careers.

The Luxembourg Song Contest is a landmark event designed to highlight the nation’s best musical talent. It provides a stage for both established and emerging artists. The event also plays a crucial role for the country’s representation in the international music scene. The winner of the contest will represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest.

The camp facilitators will select the candidates based on the following criteria:

  • Quality and potential of past, submitted tracks
  • References & experience in the field of songwriting & Eurovision Songwriting camps
  • Professional background as a songwriter, producer or performer

EUROVISION SONGWRITING CAMP facilitators:

Greig Watts  

Greig Watts is one half of the UK based writing, production and publishing team DWB.

In recent years, he has successfully hosted several songwriting camps, catering to Asia, Eurovision, and was also involved in organizing the first Midem camp. The triumph of these camps and the songs they produced has established Greig as an expert in the fields of songwriting for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Since 2016, Greig has supervised 18 Eurovision entries across 11 consecutive years, along with approximately 80 national finalists within that timeframe. Notably, Greig served as the Music Consultant for the Eurovision Song Contest for the BBC in 2019, where Michael Rice’s “Bigger Than Us” was selected.

And of course, last years camp produced not only, Luxembourg’s entry, “Mother Nature” by Eva Marija, but also 5 other national finalists!

Greig’s expertise has also led to him becoming a sought-after conference speaker, panelist, and moderator at prestigious events such as ADE (Amsterdam), GMA (Taiwan), and Sound City (Liverpool), among others.

Greig has been involved in writing and producing and A & R’ing many hits. Notable entries include:

  • « Flashlight » – Kasia Mos (Eurovision Poland Entry 2017)
  • « Fated » (TVXQ) – On the Number World 1 album Time
  • « Cleopatra » (Azerbaijan Eurovision Entry 2020)
  • « Je Me Casse » – Destiny (Maltese Eurovision Entry 2021)
  • « Miracles in December » – Exo (Number 2 in Korea)
  • « Sneakers » – ITZY – Worldwide Hit From Korea)

 

Imad Eljattari  

Imad is a passionate A&R and the founder of LinkinTrax, a Belgium-based company renowned for organizing international songwriting camps and sessions. These successful events have led to participation in national finals in countries such as Germany, Belgium, Romania, and Luxembourg, with many other submitted songs reaching the top selections of local contests.

Before embarking on his career as a publisher, Imad gained invaluable experience attending several international camps as a songwriter. This experience paved the way for him to co-host new camps, resulting in releases across Belgium, Hungary, Japan, China, and other countries. His deep knowledge of both the creative and business sides of the music industry, merged with his multilingual abilities, has made him an influential person in the industry.
