Meet a selection of songwriters and producers from Luxembourg and discover their ways of working and their tips for creating songs

Let’s start the year by having a look at the key element for every release and music project: the song itself. To discuss what makes a good song, what it takes to get the ball rolling and the creative juices flowing and how you know when your song is finished, we have invited a selection of songwriters, composers and producers from Luxembourg who are ready to share their approaches and tips with you.

Speakers:

Tom Gatti  : Tom Gatti is a Music-Producer, Songwriter and Mixing Engineer currently producing out of the Unison Studios in Luxembourg. His work is mostly pop/indie/rock/electro related. Recently Tom has worked with artists such as The Ferocious Few, The Cookie Jar Complot, Chaild, angel cara and many more.,

Lata Gouveia  : As a professional musician over the last 20 years, Lata Gouveia has lived and worked in 5 different cities, 4 different countries. Lata is also the founder of the Grund Club Luxembourg, a songwriter collective that is bringing professional musicians and emerging artists together by focusing the musical output on a catalogue of songs made in Luxembourg.

Sergio Manique Jr.  :  He is a former a student of Berklee College of Music. After graduating he started his journey as a live arranger and music director. Through collaborating with other artists such as EDSUN,     Them Lights and Soraia Ramos and putting their shows together he started to translate their visions into music productions. Sergio has now dived deep into music production and recording.

Claire Parsons : She is an award-winning singer songwriter and composer, based in Luxembourg and Brussels, who specialises in jazz and modern western music, music for the media, theatre music, concert music and performance.

He studied art criticism and management at City University and has worked in arts for most of his career, alternating between contemporary and performing arts. He has written songs for Hal Flavin and Ice In My Eyes, as well as co-writen tracks for Mutiny on the Bounty. He is involved in the selection of topics and songs in rotation for radio 100,7.
