You are an artist, musician or artist manager and want to know more about copyright and Intellectual Property in Music? Then join this workshop to demystify music copyright and IP rights, learn key terms and copyright basics, and how to protect and monetize your work.

Led by industry experts, the workshop blends theory with real-world examples and interactive discussions. Whether protecting your music or managing others’ rights, gain essential tools and knowledge to navigate the complex IP & copyright landscape.

Workshop facilitators:

Marc Nickts has been working at SACEM Luxembourg since 2006, and was nominated as the General Manager in 2009. He manages the music rights collection in Luxembourg, aiming to guarantee a fair remuneration for authors, composers, and publishers of musical work.
Founded in 2003, SACEM Luxembourg is a non-profit non-trading entity. As a subsidiary of SACEM, it collects the performing and mechanical rights for its members and the members of 121 author’s societies worldwide who have entrusted the management of these rights for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to SACEM Luxembourg.

Pablo Mohr serves as the Deputy Director of IPIL – Institut de la Propriété Intellectuelle Luxembourg G.I.E., which is dedicated to advancing intellectual property in Luxembourg. IPIL’s mission includes providing training and hosting awareness-raising sessions on intellectual property for a diverse audience. In his role, Mr. Mohr meets a wide array of professionals, from entrepreneurs to innovators and creatives.
